After a very<br \/>intense week I walked out alone in the wind on the playa in my bare<br \/>feet. I went to talk to god or anyone who would listen. I was crying.<br \/>It was literally the middle of nowhere I was walking in a straight<br \/>line, just walking. I walked directly up to a samstone staring up at<br \/>me, joyfully, with my own name shining back at me. I stared at it in<br \/>disbelief for a moment and then a thought came to me. It said &quot;yes,<br \/>I&#39;m listening and so is the desert. It knows your name and so do I,<br \/>for we are all connected&quot;. Well, I just melted. I put it in my pocket<br \/>and brought it home to Canada. It sits on the windowsill of my<br \/>bathroom (my favorite room) and reminds me that I am never alone.<br \/>Best memory of burning man.
