Our pilgrimage lasted 12 days and we walked 190 miles through northern Spain.  Needless to say it was a great trip!  Despite several rainy days where we trudged through the mud, we found the Spanish people delightful, the food and wine outstanding and the scenery awesome.  <\/p>\n<p>Part of the Camino is  the <\/p>\n<p>Cruz de Ferro, a large mounted cross high in the mountains.  As part of our Catholic tradition one brings a rock from their home and places it at the foot-of-the-cross as a symbolic gesture.  I wanted you to know that I left a SamStone there that I carried from my yard.
