By<br \/>\nserendipity, I ended up on the old path, the duck Brook trail. I<br \/>\nstopped at an elevation of 1000 feet, beautiful lookout, to dry my<br \/>\nsocks. I saw a bear right at this spot for the first time on the<br \/>\ntrail, just a moment ago! I packed up my things and was just about to<br \/>\nleave, when I saw this stone.
