I was a part of the 18th US Fish and Wildlife Service Crazy Ant Strike Team. Five people live on the island for 6 months at a time in attempt to eradicate the yellow crazy ant that has been harming the resident nesting bird populations. If I had to guess, the SamStones washed up on the eastern shore of the island, but they currently reside on the door of the bunker that we live out of along with the other treasures we\u2019ve found washed up on the island.
