The SAM stone was placed beside the Jewish Chapel at Philmont Scout Ranch<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

Gary and I arrived in Albaqueque, NMX July 2021 st the Baggage Claims to pick up our bags to go to Philmont Scout Ranch. A father was waiting in the waiting area. He tells us about SAM. We learned SAM was different but he had participated on a trek at Philmont. On day on the trail a Jewish Chaplain came over the mountain and talked with SAM. SAM found peace in the mountains and on the trail.<\/p>\n

This is Now Rosh Hashanah 3022. A new year. Sam\u2019s stone is not where we left it in 2021. We hope that Sam\u2019s adventure continues by people sharing his rock and reliving his memories. Gary and I will remember Sam and the peace and understanding found in the mountains and on the trail.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
