I wouldn’t be surprised if some kid will find it and throw it to the Yarkaon River (funny calling it a river, but this is as close as it gets in Israel). I do 95% of my running alongside the Yarkon and the park which extends from the sea to the east. Nice place.
I told the kids yesterday about Sam and showed them the Samstones sites and the pictures. Everybody agreed he was a beautiful boy and thought the memorial idea you have is a good one. Honoured to be a small part of it.

Greetings from the Bering Sea –
I will send photos later, when we’re back to being connected to faster Internet, but thought I would send a note for now telling you of where we’ve placed SamStones. I’m sure there are others in Shanghai, but we left one there, we put one on Jeju Island, S. Korea, ones in Kyoto, Mt Fuji, and Tokyo Japan, Petropovlosk-Kamchatsky, Russia, and deposited one in the Bering Sea, just north of the Allusion Islands near the International Dateline. I hope that some of those locations are new to the map of placements. This evening we will pass through the strait into the Pacific. We won’t arrive in Vancouver until Tuesday.

My family have placed Sam in the Castaway Cay Island (26°4′
59.9″N, 77°32′0.06″W) in the Bahamas on April 25 2015.
Castaway Cay is a private island in the Bahamas which serves as an
exclusive port for the Disney Cruise Line ships. It is located near
Great Abaco Island and was formerly known as Gorda Cay. The island is
developed in the theme of a castaway community, with buildings made to
look as if they had been improvised after a shipwreck. Two
submarine-ride vehicles from the now-closed 20,000 Leagues Under the
Sea: Submarine Voyage ride at Walt Disney World lie underwater in the
snorkeling area, they are between a Mickey and a Minnie statues. I
have placed Sam between the submarines and Mickey. Love to you all.
