Hi,
thanks for sending me so many stones. Had already placed two … hope
I'll find some more peaceful places for the others.
This one is placed in Parque Nacional de Garajonay on La Gomera /
Canarian Islands (Spain). The town next to this place is called Las
Hayas.
It was such an awsome experience, to search and find the perfect place
and think of Sam and all the others, we've lost while placing it.
Best regards
Astrid Tiburski

John,
We're heading to Chicago. If you're ever coming through there, be sure to give me a shout.
I left one of my Sam Stones in the garden here. I'll go to the site and enter it, but I thought you'd like to see the picture. There's probably some here already…but I bet there aren't any in Homer Glen, IL!
Talk to you later.

My good friend, Maggie Diaz, retired from the Porter County Career
Center & Tech Center, today, June 10, 2011. I created a digital
scrapbook for her with comments and photos from her teacher colleagues
and director, Jon Groth. Jon wrote some very nice things about Maggie
on his page and also notice that there is a Samstone on his desk.
Sam's spirit will be forever be imprinted in the pages of Maggie's
retirement scrapbook, which she will proudly display as a reminder of
her important life's work as an educator in Valparaiso, IN.
John
I just submitted a story to Samstone about Maggie Diaz, and am forwarding 2 photos which my daughter (Janifer) saved for me which I hope you like enough that you can add them to my Samstone story about her. As you can see one photo is the cover of her book, which shows Maggie and the second photo is of Jon Groth along with his comments in her scrapbook and notice, he has a Samstone on his desk.
