Imagine my surprise when on Barbary Castle near Swindon in Wiltshire
I looked down and there at my feet was a stone with my name on it!!
I picked it up and went to the website and here I am!! What an
absolutely fascinating project and a lovely way to remember Sam.

I found this stone on the top of the fire tower at the Bolton ski
resort in VT over the summer. the view was awesome! Its still there
if anyone wants to grab it.

Sam's stone was placed at National Sihu High School in Changhua
County, Taiwan at the Rock Knowledge Assembly, during the 3rd IESO.
There were many hundreds of students at this assembly, including
students from 14 different countries.

While working for the Forest Service this fall I found a SamStone on
top of Republic Peak on the border of Yellowstone.
Hugh placed a SamStone in Ortisei. It's a village in the Italian Dolomite mountains
Hugh placed SamStones in Riva del Garda is the town at the top of Lake Garda and has the best local museum I've ever been in

Overlooking the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem. September 16, 2009.
This one was picked up immediately by someone in another tour group.
Hi John, Martha & I placed 2 SamStones on our Israel trip. One is in the headwaters of the Jordan, near Bethsaida, feeding into the Sea of Galilee. The other overlooks the Western Wall plaza. I uploaded the pictures to the site.
