Found my SamStone just off the summit of North Kinsman Mountain in
New Hampshires White Mountains. Glad I found it and will be sure to
place it somewhere good so that others can see find this website and
share in Sam's story.

I found a Sam Stone whilst snorkling in the lagoon on Savaii Island
in Samoa.
The stone was lying among the coral reef off Fagamalo village near to
the savaii lagoon resort.
I plan to replace the stone on the sea floor whilst diving at the
Poor Knights Islands off the East Coast of the North Island of New
Zealand

Message = Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC. This is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Part of my daily runs in Rock Creek Park for years. I'm in DC for a short visit, and thought it would be a good place for a Samstone. I tossed it into the creek after the photo. Love, Valerie

The stone is in the fountain in the garden of the Reina Sofia art gallery, the one where Picasso's Guernica is exhibited.

We saw a samstone perfectly placed by the AT between North & South
Kinsman in NH – on the way to my 26th 4,000 footer peak in the White
mountains.
My friend Dave looked up your website & I have tears in my eyes for
such a multiplicity of love that I have found here. My first
grandson was born yesterday: aren't we all part of something so much
larger than all of us?

Hi John,
I have placed three more of Sam's Stones. One is at the Rattle River Shelter on the At in Shelburne N.H., one is at Crawford Pond at Crawford Notch and the last is at the top of Mt Washington in the Alpine Gardens. I believe Sam would love these places. I also wrote in the trail book at the shelter a little about sam and the story about the stones and a contact for you.

Dear John,
some thing are worth taking time for … The last Samstone you entrusted us with finally found its place in a patch of green grass, surrounded by short bushes, in a quiet corner of our garden, right in the middle of a "1-square kilometer" classified North Sea village of Belgian heritage, called De Haan (The Hen), which I cannot get on Google right now. (The address is Dantelaan 9 in case you want it.) Talk to you soon.

Kind regards / Freundliche Grüsse / Cordialement
Phil

Diane, I am so excited, I was able to put a SamStone on a good luck rocks on Jeju Island! =-) I have to get an exact name, but it's a beautiful yet sad story of a woman/wife that lost her husband at sea and went to the sea to wait and die for him there…as she cried she just eventually turned to stone. Naturally, in the sea are two huge pillars of rocks, one looks like a person standing watching and the other looks like a person lieing in the water, floating face up. This woman waited for the return of her loved one and in turn lost her life but was willing to do so because of her love. I thought this was the perfect place to rest the stone… Me and Mike will be back in Cali by the weekend and will send you as an attachment the pictures. I placed it on a high pile of good luck rocks that Korean people pile around certain national monuments and treasures…. We love you and I miss you both…can't wait to visit! Nothing but the best, positive thoughts and energy your way, Leilani
