I have a bearded dragon whose name is Lizzy.  He had stopped eating
and going to the bathroom in August.  Today my mom put in a Sam Stone
with him and this evening he ate his salad, butter worms and went to
the bathroom.  Is that cool or what!?  Thanks Sam

Nierstien, Germany (30 minutes outside of Frankfurt). It’s the Napa
Valley of Germany. I placed the stone on a post on a hill. The sign
read: Traubenwicklerbekamfung. I don’t know what it meant but the
history behind the tower that was there is that when troops were
going to attack an area, someone would light the tower to inform the
townspeople that danger was near so that they could vacate the town.

The pictures you see are of the Rhine River in the background and the
tower.

Hi John,

Lucy and I just spent a few days at Taman Negara (which is National Park in Malay) in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. It is one of the world’s oldest rainforests. We had a great time hiking, shooting rapids, exploring a cave full of bats etc. We remembered to leave a couple of Sam stones at a fish pond at the Rainforest Resort and at the Lata Berkoh cascades. Pictures are attached.

Hope all in the Cohn family are doing well just as we are.

Best wishes,

We placed a Sam Stone in Natural Bridges National Monument in Utah.
It’s at the end of the Sipapu bridge trail with a great view of the
bridge itself. Here’s a link with more pictures and a short movie:

We left a second Sam Stone at Dantes view in Death Valley. One of my
favorite views in the whole world … you can actually see the lowest
and highest point of the lower 48 states at the same time. Here’s a
link to more pictures and a movie:
