The Townsends gave me some Samstones.  This is a great way to
remember a loved one, and I’m excited to learn about Sam and your
family.

My family and I put our stone at the Detroit Zoo.  I nick named
one of our seals Sammy along time ago.  So the perfect spot for our
Samstone was with Sammy!  Not all that exciting but it was my first
thought.  Samstones are a great idea, keep it up!  You are all in our
thoughts and prayers.

boulder at a place called the flume where the local boys amaze the
tourists with their amazing flips off the cliff and into the water.
The stone is now in north central florida near the Suwannee River –
at a place where the local boys amaze the tourists with their amazing
flips into the springs!!
what a wonderful idea, I am glad to have found a samstone.

Hello, We found a Sam Stone at the top of Street Mountain, one of the
unmaintained Adirondack High Peaks. We are working on finishing all 46
peaks while attending Clarkson University. It was fun to find it up
there. Thanks!

I placed the stone between a pair of trees (one maple, the other
Douglas fir) at the northeast corner of the intersection of Wildwood
Trail and Firelane 15.  Approximate Google Maps location:

I never did meet Sam, let alone get to know him, but I like to think
that he would have enjoyed Forest Park.

Thanx, Paul

Brynn says:  This one was placed in Louisville, KY beside a tree that was planted in memory of our 12 year old niece, Angela.  It is in Seneca Park, not far from my mom’s house.

These are two stones that were placed in Vergas, MN.  One is near our cabin (the one on the fallen log) on East Spirit Lake, and the other is by Long Lake.
