I found a 2 sam stones at camp Abnaki during the summer of 2007 while
i was a CIT. The first one i found was on my bed when i was going to
sleep one night. The second one i found while washing dishes in the
dish room on top of the dish washer that we call elanor. I kept the
first stone as memory of how sam made everyone smile when he was
around them. The other i left so that every CIT at the camp will
remember sam and the impact he had in peoples lifes.

My 14 year old son, Eric, found a Sam stone when he was on the beach
in Ogunquit Maine with a friend and his family this past Sunday.
(October 14th) He and his friend went to your website and read about
Sam. Eric told us the story about Sam and we were all touched. We
are so sorry for your loss. The Sam stones is such a wonderful way
to pass on love and keep Sam’s memory alive. We will keep our Sam
stone, but would love to place more here in Maine. Just e-mail me if
you want us to place some here in Maine.

I found a Sam Stone in Yellowstone national park. I think your
message is a great one and we have breath taking places to put the
stones keep strong and i’m sorry for your loss
This is Samstone on top of Cheryl and my 10th high peak, Street. There were 10 of us that did the hike and we had great weather, were blessed with a great, quick view. Smelled of x-mas trees the whole way up and down. We left the stone in the crook of the pine.
Watch the skies for us Sam….
Adam’s Aunt Martha came in from San Diego and we stayed in Lake Placid for 3 nights. It was her first time in Lake Placid and after hiking all over the west she was over- joyed with the fall colors and beauty of the Adirondacks. We had fun shopping and checking out the Oktoberfest at Whiteface Mtn.
Have a great trip.
Love Lee-Ann

You came to speak about Sam this summer in my St. Michael’s course.
I was moved by Sam’s story and the strength of your family. I
traveled to Germany this summer and placed a stone inside the
Cologne Cathedral. You all are in my thoughts. Amy

Hi
I was getting into my car at Staples/Williston . I saw it under a
maple tree. I was touched as my cat’s name is SAM and I had taken him
to vet the day before.I felt the stone was from an angel and did not
want me to worry. Sam has been such a part of our family and he is
aging a lot lately. So the SAMstone was a reminder about love and
letting go…………heartaching to do-so thank you for your
beautiful idea.My husband was moved.

Found stone @ final ascent to Camel’s Hump in old Hut flat .03 miles
from the summit. As we started up the trail I saw the stone and
turned to my friend Sam Antrim whose birthday it was in dis belief.
We shared a magical moment .
As we continued up the mountain we laughed at those little things
in life that seem to not make much sense but make all the sense in
the world. As we summited there on top were two close friends from
Fayston. What a day!
Thank You Sam for the magic I’m sure you would have loved it as much
as we did!!
Sam A has the stone We will relocate it! Maybe out west, maybe on the
beach in Mexico. Any suggestion?
PEACE
