I was yesterday on the KING PAPYRUS Boat with one of my jazz's Bands
and during this musical cruise i let close to the ILET DU GOSIER in
Guadelupe one of the sam's stone…

Yes, thats right.. my freind David Mestre ,Director of Space Science Education at the Discovery Museum and Planetarium put a samstone in a satellite built by students as part of the spacegrant program. I'd given him the samstone at the gathering of the vibes music festival in 2012. I saw david at this years gathering of the vibes (2013) and he gave me the stone and told me the story.. You can read about it here . The samstone and the rest of the payload went up about 62 mils and left the earths atmosphere, then hurtled down back into the Atlantic ocean 42 miles offshore. It was recovered by a ship which followed a radio beacon in the payload.
How amazing is that ?

Hello, I found my SAM in OURAY,C0 while on vacation with the entire
family, what a place, we found it under a beautiful waterfall while on
the perimeter hike around the city. Soon to relocate to RSM, CA. Long
live SAM !!!!

Hi
I found a samstone in Vienna in May, then I feel that I need to take
with me, because I need it! And so it was! I have always wanted to go
to Greece. When that went home a week later and was told to go to
Greece in July. : D It was really cool. And honestly telling every
time I was in my hand the Samstones always flooded with a very
pleasant feeling of warmth. Quiet and peaceful in my soul when I
caught at least once a day. I knew that this stone will have to take
him with me to Greece and there to leave. And I did this with a heavy
heart. July 24th I left the park Samstone Paralia against Caravel
apartments.
Preparation of SamStones a very nice idea.
Thank you for the many good times, which caused the rock on with your
love!

A Sam stone found in Washington Hall in Mammoth Cave 267' below
ground. Underneath Mammoth Cave national park lies the longest cave in
the world with 400 surveyed and mapped miles. The stone was probably
placed by a visitor on our wild cave tour a 6 1/2 hour crawling tour.
I can't condone leaving anything in the cave but it will be passed on!

Hi, I was given this stone by a friend who found it while we were
on holiday at Hot Water Beach, Coromandel, New Zealand. It was given
to me because my name also is Sam so I came home and looked up the
website and was touched by the story. What a great way to remember him
and celebrate his life.
