Cottonwood, AZ

Dear Cohn Family

Recently, Lance and I took a Samstone with us on a short trip to Cottonwood, AZ for our fortieth wedding anniversary. I forgot how much fun it is to interact with new people and stay at a new bed & breakfast. Desert Rose is in a rural setting and there were quite the cast of interesting characters who stayed there. There was the filmmaker, Ken Sheetz, who is staying indefinitely, and is currently working on a series of films with Dr. Patrick Flanagan. Ken also believes strongly in Sedona’s energies and did the “Coolest Doc Ever”, in Antarctica and is #1 on Google. Then there was the massage therapist and yoga consultant with her straight laced husband who also wanted to talk to the filmmaker about that same energy, she actually took notes. Then there were the two bird watching doctors who could not sit still long enough to eat breakfast as they were rubber necking around to see all the birds and wildlife at the B & B, including the ton of cats, dogs and even 3 llamas. Speaking of llamas, we decided that the best place for the Samstone would be on a waterfall, near where the llamas were running and playing. Many guests watch the llamas around this waterfall, so we would not be surprised if it were found sooner than later, let’s keep our fingers crossed.

I placed my SamStone in Greyton, South Africa.
My SamStone was given to me by Sam's brother, Max. As I was leaving
the boat where Max lives, departing on a one-way trip around the
world, Max must have sensed my apprehension and called me back, where
he presented me with a SamStone and wished me luck. I wasn't quite
sure what it was, but I knew it was something special by the energy it
held. After reading through this site, I placed it on an altar at a
Rainbow Gathering in South Africa. Then during our holiday gifting
circle, it randomly chose its next keeper, a loving mother whose
sister happened to be named Sam, and Sam told her sister she was
pregnant two days later! Magic. So grateful to be part of this
beautiful SamStone project.
