I left this SamStone on top of the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala, inside
one of a few holes which contain heat from the volcano.

We found a stone at Tunnels Beach in Kauai and was so curious about it
we took it back to the condo. After reading this amazing story we knew
we had to "keep it going." We too just lost a dear friend and added
her name to the stone and then found it a new home on Kauai. The
beauty of the spot we chose would make both of them smile 🙂

Good friends Jeff and Michelle sent this message
Yesterday in Croatia on this small island in this small village I found a perfect home for this Sam Stone. It was a near windless day so we mainly were motoring our sailboat around — and we had stopped here for lunch.

Today while outfitting a scuba diver at Victory Sports in Colchester,
I noticed a lump in a diving glove and… there was a SamStone. When I
had a chance to go online I found this wonderful tribute.
The SamStone in my possession will be accompanying me on my motorcycle
when I ride this summer. When I find a spot that touches my heart, I
will leave it there and let you know.
Be well, Tom Cousino

John. Long due but finally accomplished. Today in the morning my mom and I placed Sams stone in a beautiful stretch of beach in Cuba. My mom who is a deeply religious person found a great spot overlooking the blue waters of the caribbean sea. At dawn we put the stone in this place and we hope that there remains blended and undisturbed within a luscious stretch of virgin Cuban sand. Pictures follow in a separate note.
We had two fishermen as witness as we placed the stone
Regards, Luis

Here is SamStone resting on an ancient Japanese covered bridge in Hoi
An, Vietnam. Bridge sits in this lazy town full of life and vibrancy
which reminds you of an old colonial village boxed in by the ocean and
a river.
