I found a SamStone on the Long Trail and took it with me to Wyoming.
I placed it near a waterfall at the foot of Taminah Lake, an alpine
lake (9,000')  in Avalanche Canyon of the Tetons.  A beautiful,
secluded spot.

Lake Nabugabo – Uganda

Posted by: samstone @ 8:28 pm

Been traveling through the western parks of Uganda,
placed Samstones in magical areas, spots I felt Sam
would have loved.

Kibale National Park, forest, wild populations of chimpanzees,
incredible diversity of life, rich soundscape

Queen Elizabeth National Park, savannah, elephants, lions, incredible
vistas…saw a leopard (very rare!!) and placed one
nearby

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, high altitude, steep mountains, mists, home
of mountain gorillas

Lake Nabugabo, RAMSES world heritage site, huge lake with even larger
wetlands

Thanks for sending the Samstones to me in the UK.

wishing you both the best,
mark

Hi,
thanks for sending me so many stones. Had already placed two … hope
I'll find some more peaceful places for the others.
This one is placed in Parque Nacional de Garajonay on La Gomera /
Canarian Islands (Spain). The town next to this place is called Las
Hayas.
It was such an awsome experience, to search and find the perfect place
and think of Sam and all the others, we've lost while placing it.
Best regards
Astrid Tiburski

John,

We're heading to Chicago. If you're ever coming through there, be sure to give me a shout.

I left one of my Sam Stones in the garden here. I'll go to the site and enter it, but I thought you'd like to see the picture. There's probably some here already…but I bet there aren't any in Homer Glen, IL!

Talk to you later.
