Found a "Samstone" in the Bamforth Shelter of the Long trail, going
north it is the 2nd shelter before Bolton Valley, the place I learned
to snowboard.  This project exudes so much beauty and it is a pleasure
to see it stems from a celebration of ones life!  Finding a Samstone
definitely felt special to us, and it was certainly a wonderful
night! I look forward to discovering more with the knowledge of their
roots 🙂 To Sam!

Spring 2007 my boyfriend and I went to Antwerpen zoo (Belgium). Next
to the flamingo's we found a Sam stone. Finally, after 3 years, being
kept in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) we pass along our Sam stone to
newborn Sam (born 29-04-2010). Sam and his family live in Kranenburg
(Germany). He'll be the one to decide what to do with it next..

We are from Holland and we went to Scotland last year on vacation. We
found a Samstone at the Inversnaid Falls at the eastern side of Loch
Lomond. Yesterday I watched the Colony and I found out about the
stones. We have brought it with us to Holland (Bergen op Zoom).

of the blue.  While here we got this Samstone onto this camel here in

Message = My name is Matias and I am 12 yrs. old. Today I was skiing with my family at Copper Mountain Colorado. As we were skiing, at the highest point of the mountain, approx 11,500 ft. (about as big as Sam's heart is) my father came upon this wonderful stone and showed us all. It was sitting there and waiting for another person to come and learn about this remarkable boy. We all give our regards for Sam's family and friends. I am so touched by Sam's story I am not sure to pass it on or keep it, so for now I will keep it for it's spirit and memory until I find the perfect person to share Sam's heart. sincerely, Matias

Stone #3 was placed March 17, 2010 in a stone wall on the property of
the Pompeii ruins near Naples, Italy.  I’ve included a photo of the
marker outside the house to show the exact location within the ruins.
