Hi John,
I was on the flight from Portland to San Francisco with you around the 4th of June, I believe. I told you I was on my to Italy. You gave me a Samstone and asked that I place it in a nice location . The Samstone is near Lake Iseo along a path for hikers and mountain bicyclists.
It was a pleasure to talk with you on the flight.
I hope you’re having a nice summer. 😉
Aloha,
Josephine

Where did you place the SamStone ? (please be as specific as you can e.g.: near a landmark, an address or a long/lat) |
at the northwest corner of Fort Chambly in ChamblyQC |
Please tell us more about where and how you placed it |
After riding along the canal of Chambly Quebec Canada
We came to the old Fort Chambly on the Richelieu River. There was a large school group playing in the park there.
I put my SamStone on the NW corner of the fort close to the park where the kids were playing. |

I work with Peter Office who have me a Sam stone . I have placed it
outside our Woodstock 50 Festival building in Woodstock New York . I
hope Sam can hear the music and know we have Peace in the Valley (as
The Band said). I commend you on an amazing tribute to your son.

After a long day of school in Houston Texas at spring branch middle
school I looked up at our billboard and saw a white rock looking
object upon inspection I saw the word Sam on a stone not thinking much
I thought a kid at school bought this rock from a shop. as I turned
the rock I saw a link as soon as I saw this, I searched the link and
read the heart warming story of Sam. his legacy and kind hearted
attitude really touched me .

I found a Sam Stone back in 2006 or so, when I was working a shift at
the Cumberland Farms in Richmond. I’ve carried it with me to
multiple homes, and it is now in Chicopee, MA.

I found this Sam Stone at a brunch place in Montreal while I was
visiting. I thought it was crazy odds because my name is also Sam and
I hadn’t heard of these stones before. The stone was inside our
table in a little drawer. I googled the website on the back and am
touched by Sam’s story. I’ll be sure to leave it somewhere nice
for the next person to find and pass on some of the love.
It was called Lola Rosa. There are four Lola Rosa locations in Montreal but I am 99% sure it was the bistro location located at 545 Milton St, Montreal, QC H2X 1W5, Canada
