I was finally going through Peter’s winter stuff getting ready for a
trip to Iceland and I found this samstone in the pocket of Peter’s
ski jacket. I placed it in
National Park which is a UNESCO
site for its cultural and geological importance which I know Peter
would have loved. Coordinates are 64.259172, -21.122932

John,
I hope you’re doing well.
Dawn and I brought the Sam stone that you have us on a trip to Africa, and left it at
Victoria Falls today. I’ve attached a picture below.
Best regards,
Mark

A Waterfall in Siem Reap Phnom Kulen National Park. I don’t know the
exact name. I placed the stone after I had a serious fall.

Some place in Muong Hoa Valley in Sapa Vietnam.
I’m sorry that there was fog in Muong Hoa Valley when I was there, but
I tried my best to find a best vision.

my good friend Andrea sends:
The second SamStone is at the Baltic Sea, western beach of the Darss natural forest (national park). It’s placed underneath a fallen tree in the sand on the beach.
The place is about 3 miles north of 18347 Ahrenshoop, coordinates: 54°24’54.5″N 12°27’46.0″E (

John,
I hope you and Diane are well and having lots of fun. Betsy and I were just up in the Canadian Rockies, and I left a Samstone in a remote area between Mount Charles Stewart and Stenton Peak (see attached pic). The coordinates were 51.161426 -115.291373. We went heli-hiking and spent three hours hiking high up in the mountains. It was just Betsy, me and an excellent guide. We lucked out with one day of clear skies. It was fantastic.
I see you were just rafting near Glacier National Park. We were there just a few days before you!
How is your new job at MIT? Tell me more about what you are doing.
All the best,
Kevin
