My friend Mandy placed a SamStone in the french Alps. She said
I have left a samstone in the French Alps – on top of the Aigle Rouge mountain (3227m high) – The red blob is where the stone is (pointer ref is for that spot too) and the blue cross close by is the village of Arc1950.

My friend Hugh sent the following note
John,
I left the stone on the fountain of the Placa de Sant Felip Neri in Barcelona. This is a small square in the centre of the old quarter, which has a children’s school. The kids play in the square during their breaks. Also, during the Spanish Civil War, the fascists bombed the square, killing 42 people, mostly children.

3. Ndangane coordinate 14*04’18.84″N & 16*41’29.07″W The Sam Stone was left on the river bank. Google Earth’s resolution is not very good here.
The tree that I left the Sam Stone under is in the tree in the center of the picture. This is morning in West Africa.

My good friends Carl and Brinn placed several SamStones in Senegal. I’ll get exact locations and pictures soon
Here are the notes and pictures I got from Carl
Panoramic picture of the river where I left the Sam Stone in Ndagane.

The panoramic picture does not do justice to the view.
Pictures of Pofine.
This is where about 800 people were present for our visit and celebration.
It was a great visit. I have a movie Brynn dancing.
We sat under this tree watching the singing and dancing and then joined in.
The Sam Stone is in the school next to this tree.
The 3 villages where we left the Sam Stones are
1. Keur Makhali coordinates for Google Earth 12*58’28.07″N & 16*29’37.17″W This is the tree where I left the Sam stone. This is north of Baba Garage in the middle of nowhere.
