Don’t have any photos, but I received a Stone while I worked at
radioshack years ago. Have been in the Navy for 3 and a half years now
and am on deployment right now. I keep this stone tucked in my wallet
every where I go. He has traveled with me to Quebec, Halifax,
Portugal, Isreal, Egypt, Djibouti, and Oman so far with a few port
visits to go. I’ve always got my travel buddy with me 🙂

Hi, My name is Hudson Louviere and I am 7 years old. When I went on
vacation to Oregon we took a hike to the Blue Hole. When I started
walking on some bumpy rocks I dropped a wooden spear I had made from a
stick. When I went to pick it up I found the Sam stone. I didn’t know
it was a Sam Stone until I got home.

I plan to drop it on our trip so that someone else can find it and
find out about Sam.

Thanks!
Hudson

I came across a SamStone on a thru hike of the long trail. By
serendipity, I ended up on the old path, the duck Brook trail. I
stopped at an elevation of 1000 feet, beautiful lookout, to dry my
socks. I saw a bear right at this spot for the first time on the
trail, just a moment ago! I packed up my things and was just about to
leave, when I saw this stone. I can’t imagine a better spot than this
place of serendipity, magic, and beauty, so I’m going to leave it
right here.

Reststop – Illinois

Posted by: johncohn @ 9:27 am

Hi John and Diane

Want to let you know we hit the road. We realized we didn’t have time to connect with you to see about getting some Sam stones to place along the way, so we’ve started making our own and leaving one in each state. In some places, we’ve done a little drawing with the initials of everyone in your family and in some places we’ve made a stone.

This one is t a rest stop in
