Hi John,
Bhavna and I went hiking in the snow yesterday at
Rockefeller Park in Westchester County and each tossed two SamStones out into the fields. This was the first location:
And the second (Hudson River in the distant background):
Lastly, a photo of our merry band of wayfarers:
Four Sam Stones are in reserve for our next adventure!

At the top of Observation Point in Zion National Park, Utah.
Please tell us more about where and how you placed it
The stone was placed on Nov 14, 2020 in Zion National Park, Utah at the top of Observation Point overlooking Zion Canyon. It was placed on a section of rocks that jut out over the canyon, in a small divot. This section of rocks is immediately to the right of another jutting-out section of rocks containing the US Geological Survey elevation marker. It can be seen at the bottom middle of the attached photo.

Lion’s Den in Durango Colorado
Please tell us more about where and how you placed it
One of the last things I did before I left Durango was place a Samstone at the Lion’s Den which is a picnic area that overlooks the town from a beautiful viewpoint. This is a spot that had a lot of significance to me throughout my time in that town and is definitely the kind of place Sam would enjoy to go. The samstone was placed in the stone wall overlooking the town sometime in the early summer of 2018.
