John,
I left a Sam Stone in a tree by the roadside on Aranmore Island off the north-west coast of Ireland at latitude 54deg 59′ 2″ North, longitude 8deg 29″ 44″ West. Photos attached. One is of the Aranmore Post Office sign. My sister designed the POST with wavy line logo about 30 years ago. It’s on Post Office premises, vans and stamps all over Ireland.

John
It was great to see you in the airport. What a coincidence – just days before we headed to Europe with the honor and responsibility to place three Sam Stones.
I wanted to write to thank you for the experience. It was quite emotional for our family – me in particular.
Dan and Cori placed the first two. One in a tree in the Mirabelle gardens in Salzburg – a beautiful city. The second in the gardens of the Hohenschwangeau (sp?) castle – boyhood home of King Ludwig who built the Disney inspiring castle he never lived in.
The third inspired this note. I placed it at the base of the Staubach falls in the Lauterbrunnen valley in Switzerland – a remarkably stunning place. We have had less than optimal weather – completely clouded over blocking all views of the Alps three highest peaks. I was feeling a bit down but this placed it all in perspective for me. It simply did not matter – I was with my family.
Thank you,
Bill, Cori, Dan and Seldon

Hi John,
Friends Fram and Jenine write
Jeanine and I just placed the first SamStone in Lebanon! I sent a message via Samstones.org, but the picture was too large to send. We placed it in a tree during our morning walk, overlooking the Bay of Jounieh and Beirut in the distance.
As promised, we placed the first SamStone in the country of Lebanon.
While on a walk this morning, we placed the SamStone in a tree in the
town of Kfour, overlooking the seacoast of Lebanon and Beirut (the
capital). I tried to upload the photo, but it said it was too large,
so I will send it via email.
I will be placing one more SamStone in another location in Lebanon and will send the details once complete.
Please give my regards to Diane……..Fram
