Thinking of sam in Cambodia.
Wow… just got this email. Small World ! Somehow this Brit and her crazy climbing boyfriend reached the Top of the COBA pyramid, climbed way up the back of the chamber on top and found the Sam Stone we had stretched high (so we thought !) and placed on a small ledge. Peter is pretty tall (~6'7") and he extended his arm fully as well…. this was ~9+ feet high on that Chamber wall behind a do not cross rope. Maybe wind/rain knocked the stone off the ledge…
Sam's story continues to Travel ! Unfortunately that Stone's view from the Top of the COBA pyramid is no longer.
So John… we need some more Stones ! Karen, Peter, and I will be in the Rockies (Colorado & Utah) in March doing some skiing, maybe a well placed stone above ~12,000 feet would be "unique".

Hello Edwards Family
Myself and my partner recently visited Mexico for Christmas and New Year, while in Mexico we visited Coba and believe after visiting the Sam Stones website we may have found one of your Sam stones which was place in February 2011.
My partner and I climbed Coba and my partner decided to go behind the monument and found the Sam stone, which was quite bizarre as my name is Sam.
When he gave it to me I thought he had bought it from somewhere until we visited the website and read about Sam and his Story.
For now the Sam Stone has returned with us back the New Swannington in England, however when we travel again we will take it with us and place it for someone else to discover and read about Sam's Story.

First ride of the new year – we had to stop and pump up the tyre of a Dad out jogging with his Daughter 😉 The wheels had mini inner tubes in them and he's had a puncture ….was a strange sight, Sam would have approved I think 😉

a few years ago. I saved it and then I placed it today at the
Southern most point in the Continental U.S. in Key West Florida. Here

I found a stone at tillotson cabin on the LT. I am a caretaker of a
Christian teen/family camp in Johnson callled Ithiel Falls Camp
Meeting. I frequent many local LT cabins to ensure that each on has a
bible available for hikers. That day I met another couple who love
Jesus and they consented to take a bible on to a cabin farther up the
trail where I do not normally tramp. Great way to honor your memories
and spread some simple love into this world! I applaud you. My parents
have "outlived" two children. I expect to spend eternity with them and
hope to meet you and sam there. I have a brother and a sister who do
not believe and deny such things. I will say some prayers for you'all,
sam, and the recently murdered children from CT. Will you say a prayer
for the salvation of my siblings? Blessings, Bill

I met Max briefly before a volunteer farming trip to Hawaii through
some friends and he gave me a Samstone…I accidentally lost the stone
whole traveling, but I found it again as I was leaving one of my
favorite beaches on the Big Island, right before I was going to the
airport to fly home (that would be the old Kona airport beach in
Kailua-Kona). I placed it, photographed it, and said a prayer for your
wonderful son, and for this opportunity to participate in a beautiful
act of human compassion. Thanks for the experience! Peace to you 🙂
