Name: Jay Catalano
Location: Found at my address
Story: I noticed the stone shortly after moving in to this apartment building, a year and a half ago. The stone resides in the sill of a 3rd floor window. With my curiosity being piqued, the research led me here.

| I was lucky enough to receive an invitation to visit Antarctica during the winter of 2021. The Antarctic ecosystem is very delicate, so leaving the stone permanently wasn’t possible. But may this photo be proof that Sam has visited the elusive 7th continent! |

| Our 1-year-old son, Arrhur, picked up a rock that looked a little different than the ones around it from the path we were walking home. We saw that it was a SamStone and came to this website to learn Sam’s story. This experience touched our hearts and we are so amazed how you are keeping Sam’s spirit thriving. Thank you all. |

I was with family (my husband, his cousin and friend) and we were hiking down from High Point. I found Sam’s stone placed at the fire pit and took it with me. I’m sorry if that was a misunderstanding of the stones purpose (I thought they were supposed to be taken and moved elsewhere by the finders.) I brought the stone with me to Paris and brought it along with me to the Picasso museum, the Rodin museum, the Louvre, and on several beautiful walks around the Seine river and the city. I plan to either return it where I found it this summer or place it in a new beautiful spot. I will
Upload pictures. I’m so sorry for the loss of this wonderful child. |

| We have placed a Sam stone in our outdoor space at our preschool centre. The children sometimes move the Sam stone around in their play and notice the writing and ask questions. In a developmentally appropriate way, we open up discussions on ‘love’ ‘respect’ and ‘kindness’ in honour of Sam. |
