Message =
I placed my SamStone (Stone of Sam) on my desk.  I look at it every
day, several times.  It reminds me of how precious a life is.  It is a
constant reminder to take nothing for granted.  Strange that this
young boy’s life (a boy I never had the pleasure of meeting) plays on
my consciousness.  It is a positive presence in my mind.  A life
consists of many things including, and perhaps most importantly, the
sum total of all people’s memory and consciousness of that life.  I
never knew Sam but I certainly have some measure of him now…a
beautiful child.
