Great Wall of China

Hi John,

today I enjoyed a great day out with two colleagues who took me from Beijing to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City in Beijing (parts of it as we were late) and the Heaven Temple. I found a spot for a SamStone on the great wall on top of a tower. See my story below:

This is my story:

“While enjoying a free day during my stay in China, two friendly colleagues took me to the Great Wall at Juyongguan / Juyong Pass, which used to be a military stronghold north of Beijing (http://www.beijingholiday.com/beijing-map/juyongguan-great-wall.html). We climbed up a steep part of the Great Wall to the first tower – you can see it in the picture (the arrow points at it). I found a nice place for a SamStone in a loophole of the tower. In fact, the SamStone went down a little slit in the stone so that you can still see it, but it’s not too obvious. The picture shows the SamStone on top of the slit.

By the way, Mao Zedong said who has not been to the Great Wall is not a good man…well, Sam is there now.”
