I think a 14 year old would just LOVE this place so I put a SamStone
at  N 37°34.789 W 092°02.045 in the geocache located there.  The
place is a civil war era farm known as Piney River Heritage Farm
located in the Mark Twain National Forest. It is being preserved by
volunteer effort of an organization known as Passport in Time.  Way
cool. Picture on FB at

John,

That was a facebook image I posted but I suspect it is some of FB’s ‘dark matter’ now. Try this one. I thought I had one taken at ground zero which shows the hills better but this one of the old civil war era farm house is a good one. A very typical old mid 1800’s missouri farm that the forest service normally just burns down. This one got saved with the help of some local volunteers. It was quite a discovery for my wife and I yesterday and I’ve frequented that area of the national forest for years!

Cheers..
