I work at Green River Reservoir State Park in Hyde Park, Vermont. I
was out cleaning site 8 or 9, and saw this funny stone sitting in a
split in a silver birch. I brought it back to the ranger station and
found this site. I couldn’t believe that they are all over the world!
The story brings tears of sadness and joy to my eyes, and I’ll try to
find a good place or person to pass this stone on to.
