Ram’s Head St. John – British Virgin Islands
When we went hiking on Ram’s Head at the southern tip of St.John we took a Samstone, planning to leave it for Sam. As we headed up the trail I noticed a rock with a worn rectangular spot that looked like something had once been attached. When we got to the top we saw this plaque, the same size, tucked against the rock. Then I noticed Kyle’s year of birth. We placed the Samstone nearby. When we got home I googled Kyle and found out that he was also an avid skateboarder and musician. How appropriate that they both be honored on such a beautiful spot of land.
A picture of Fritz taking the pictures above. Truly the southern tip of the island.
Norman Island to the east, where we moored the night before.
Our boat moored below, the further away.
Ram’s Head St. John, looking southeast. Sam and Kyle are hang out in the sun just above the sharp drop at the end of the point, mid picture.
