Name = Richard Cocchiara Email = rmcocch@us.ibm.com Message = Our Boy Scout Troop recently did a high adventure trip to Vermont to hike the Appalachian Trail. I carried a Sam Stone in my pocket as we hiked to Stratton Pond, up Stratton Mountain and back to Bromley. I injured my knee on the trail and was forced to let me scouts and two adult leaders go on with out me. Feeling better I hiked to Prospect Rock by myself with my Samstone to keep me company. Next day I hiked up Bromley Mountain to meet my troop and Sam with with me again. Sam is now part of our troop and our plans are to carry Sam with us on our future hikes and campouts.
