We were in 

two weeks ago and left a Sam Stone in a niche in a wall in Piazza S Elisabetta, near the lamppost in the middle of the second picture. The tower on the left was a women's prison in the thirteenth century and is about two blocks back from the Doumo in Florence. The tower is now part of Hotel Brunelleschi
